- ow does an organization create a vision that provides the kind of benefits we've just enumerated? Clearly the development of a vision is not as simple as just having the executive group go off for a few days to think up a clever phrase or two which can then be posted and put in everybody's wallet or purse. People need to be involved. They won't be committed if they weren't involved in developing it. Yet, people also want to know where the leaders stand, what they think, and how deeply committed they are.
