We tend to have a strange preoccupationg with non-verbal communication, sometimes believing that it is far more important than it is, and that somehow we can use non-verbals to manipulate or secretly affect others. In this section, we'll explain how non-verbal and paralanguage works so you can be more aware of the ways you communicate that tend to be unconscious, and appreciate how different people and cultures communicate in non-verbal ways.
